The date is set for the 11th Annual Nature Coast Challenge – a Kayak Catch, Photo and Release Fishing Tournament in Yankeetown, Florida. The Captain’s Meeting will be Friday evening April 29th, 2022. You may fish the Withlacoochee River or the Gulf of Mexico. Fishing will begin on Saturday April 30th, 2022 at first light.

The Chiefland Watermelon Festival will be held Saturday June 4th 2022 8AM-3PM at 23 SE 2nd Avenue, Chiefland, FL Vendor Check in will be between 6-8 AM Space assignment will be provided at check-in. All vehicles must be out of the festival area by 8AM. The parade will begin promptly at 11:00 AM.
